Looks like Saturday afternoon is out for me. I have visitors coming from out of town. Sunday morning could be doable depending on how long it takes to install. Thanks again.

I normally do church Sunday mornings, but can pass if this is the only time it can be done. I really would like to get something installed soon for the peace of mind.

Sorry, I have guests this weekend and I do not have time to spend on the jeep. I know, I need to choose whom or what I spend my time with more wisely! J/K:D

Sure Jamie, just work out a time that we could all get together, my schedule is pretty booked up next week though. It's a really simple soldering job, just need a small switch that you can hide somewhere.

Well I'm pretty much booked through the evening of the 10th.
Do I need more then just that switch, I have no problem supplying the materials. :)

I use a few feet of speaker wire, enough to go from under the hood to where ever you want to put the switch, and shrink tubing. I have both here. I have a 3 day camping trip starting on the 10th, after that we can figure out when. Brad, when will you be available?

Tuesday am would work, Mike Varne was looking for a run then, but this might be more important if we can all get together.

we can do tuesday.....gotta get a switch...what kind are you using...just a single throw switch..?? or rocker style..??

I'm on my second switch, the first one was a single pull with a plastic toggle, when it broke I replaced it with a metal toggle, cause of breakage still undetermined, but the metal one has survived so far. A rocker switch might also work, but I haven't seen one made of metal. A few feet of speaker wire and some heat shrink, ( I have this if you don't). Unless any of you are good at soldering, I will provide the soldering skills.
Didn't mean to ignore you Kregg, this project is quite simple but only works on late model Jeeps with an in the tank fuel pump. You are welcome to come over and supervise, (harass) or just shoot the s**t with us.

From experience, if you put the switch where it can contact the frame/body, make sure you insulate the switch. I had mine short out a fuse on several occasions. Not fun repeatedly replacing fuses. :(

Wayne and Brad, thank you for the warm welcome. And thanks again Wayne for the info on the kill switches. I now have two switches to do my killing. One for the fuel, and one in the start circuit. Just can't have enough? Kill switches that is.

Wayne, I don't know how many Jeeps your neighbors will put up with but if one more isn't one to many, I'd like to join up and get "switched" also. I just live a few miles south of PC off Estrella Parkway. If its ok, then PM me as well with your info. Thanks
