Did judgement day at night last weekend and noticed after the exit road that the trail kept going up the wash. What trail is this ? :)

I was told it was called Gila Monster. It is a fun trail. That first squeeze sure is tight.

Further down the trail

It would probably be rated 3.0 to 3.5 just like most of the trails in that wash.

I have only ever ran it once. There was 4 of us and 3 of us were newbies to TM. I think it was around 2 hours.

I linked those from my pic site. I'm sure i have you going through there somewhere on one of my hard drives. For now. You have to use "I-M-A-G-I-N-A-T-I-O-N" :D

Back around the time Judgement Day was first opened, I remember someone saying the continuation in that wash was about the difficulty level of Raw Deal which I took to mean Lower Raw Deal. But I have never run it and the pictures above make it appear to be a bit more difficult than Lower Raw Deal.

As for the name, I wasn't aware it had a name. Gila Monster is in the southwest valley in the Buckeye Hills area.
