I to hope to be starting on my axles removal and replacements. I've picked up on 86 Waggy D44s front and rear. Mine will probally happen after taxes.

Do you have everything you need for your front? I have an 84 drivers drop I'm building and have lots of extra parts.:)

Thanks, Simon. I can't get there until Saturday.
Anti-wrap perches too, I presume?

I'm also going to need some new hangers. I couldn't save the old ones when I cut them off yesterday.

There's no warranty on the welding :D

That's OK, chances are you'll be there if/when it breaks and will have to help me limp off the trail anyway :)
The welds you've done look like they'll hold up just fine.

I might run a few beads myself this time and/or we can always invite Ron over :)

I just ordered a new helmet today since it looks like a lot of welding is in my near future. That one I was using left a bit to be desired. Although now the pressure will be on for good looking welds since I can't blame anything on the helmet :D

I've got scrap stuff floating around so you can pop over and lay some practice beads before you burn a hole in your junk :D
