Yesterday at work someone decided to use my jeep as a trash can for their lunch trash. I find this very disrespectful and makes me doubt mankind. Even worse it is probally someone I work with. Has this happened to anyone else?

My ex-Jeep:rolleyes: was used as a garbage can while getting worked on at Van Collision Center...even found car parts that weren't mine:eek:

I have had a drink container from Wendys tossed in mine and this is the bad one......a lit cigarrete in a Home Depot parking lot. I just happened to come out of the store right after it had happened and found it burning a hole in my floor mat. I smoked at the time...but this cig was not my brand so it wasn't mine.
I try to see humans as decent beings, but seems like more and more people have lost their decency, respect for others and their integrity.

I was once told that one's "character" is defined by "what one does when no one is looking"
Obviously, there is some truth to that statement.

Never my Jeep, but I'd find trash in the bed of my Tacoma all the time. It does make you question people a bit. I saw a guy remove a flyer from his car and throw in my truck, so I took it and dropped it through his sunroof. He truly could not understand why I did that.

Does doing it to my own Heep count?:o I figure it's better than littering, and I clean it out once a week...mostly cig packs.
My old Yota ended up being the beer bottle/can deposit at the dunes one year. People I didn't even know started throwing them in my bed one night and by the next day my bed was half full! Good times...:D

On the trail, yes, all the time. Although I usually ask first, I do it, and I expect it. I do carry trash bags but usually don't use them since I just empty the Jeep when we're off the trail. Usually into someone else's Jeep....kidding about that last part...
In the city in a parking lot would be in bad form I think.

Right on! I used to drive a 1982 Chevy 1 Ton 4x4 back in my military days that was lifted running 36" tires. I used to park it in the street directly in front of my apartment and one day a couple of punks decided to park 6" in front of and 6" behind me in effect boxing me in........kind of. Needless to say that granny low and low range were used to.....how shall we say.....persuade the young gentlemens vehicles to move....about 25 yards!! Let's just say that they didn't park next to my beat up primer gray pickup any more.

One of the bad parts of owning an XJ. People seem to think "Eh, he has room". If I carry your cooler, expect some beer to be missing!! :)

I've been on the receiving end of a half-full bottle of crappy beer. I noticed it after it tipped over and started to spill.

I used to run a vending route in Phoenix and was one of the few guys who would go into the bars down on Washington and 16 street at night to give them change. I used to take my dog along for supper. I'd leave all kinds of trash and tools on the dash with the windows rolled down on my truck, and anyone who tried to to take anything off that dash was supper for my german sheperd. The boys who hung around the Bob Inn loved my truck and gave it a wide berth!

Ever hear that Phil Hendrie bit with the "old lady" and the Catholics mackin' on Jesus? Damn that is one of the funniest things going....you have to hear it to appreciate it.

I was an a Jeep one once when a fellow Jeep did this to a guy. There were several smokers, all pretty much so the same name brand, so no for sure way to tell and the person doing it did not have the nads to speak up.
All this goes back to a lack of respect (see PC is BS) and common sense is no longer common.

If you read a little farther, it was my dog who was having supper and it wasn't homeless people, it was drunks.:D I saw a woman shoot her husband
and girlfriend in that joint back in the early seventies and then the bar keep shot here dead. Its a bare lot now I think.

Happens ALL the time to me, but I offer my rig as the local trash can, but only happens on the trail. Unless my wifes Mustang has both cupholders full, then she tosses her empties in the open Jeep!

I was always finding beer bottles, trash inside my jeep. One time a couple of harley guys, with nice shiny bikes, were using my hood as a table to eat their fast food... Think they'd let me tip their bikes over and sit on their bikes?No..
I had a couple 2 gallon gas cans disapear, until I filled one with half gas, half water, that was the last one that was stolen.

Almost every trail ride I pick up trash and put it in the nearest open topped Jeep. Didn't know everyone would get so pissed :o
IF it helps, many times my Jeep is the nearest open top Jeep so I just throw the trash in it, I have to clean the trash out after every trip anyways..............
