Is everyone looking at the pics closely and seeing the angle at which people in the background are standing? I was looking at th epics and thinking... well, in pics the angle doesn't look as bad as it felt walking around up there. Then I looked closer (especially the first pic) and thought to myself... Self... it was was that bad. I don't fell like such a wuss about it anymore.
Donner, CA was absolutely AWESOME, but you need to be a mountain goat to get around! One of the few places I've been where it was easier for the rigs to get around than people on foot. And the resivoir in the background with the ski tracks and such... beautiful. And the light-headedness from lack of oxygen just made it that much more impressive :google-eyes:

No issues, a few new dents in tube, broken fiberglass but chassis and cage are straight. I was a little sore for a couple days, but that it.

Nice pictures. I've never done a competition, or even seen one, but it sure looks like a lot of fun.

Here's something Todd discovered this morning... you CAN break a Rockcrusher housing... sort of.
Turns out that his fondness of bouncing around on the nose of the rig while under heavy throttle action has spun the short-side axle tube. And this tube was rosette/plug welded!
Now we just gotta figure out a way to turn the tube back the nearly 15 degrees it's out and, thus, get everything back in line.
Joy oh joy.
