yea........ a piece of something came uip and bit my plastic radiator drain **** (the drain plug..I knew the forum would edit :D :D ).. broke it off .. I used some midevil method to get it out..... after going to the part store and sizing up the "nub" the size is 10M x 1.5 ...... Here lies the problem, NO ONE carries them
POSSIBLE solution,,,,,,,,,,,, replace the drain **** with a hex bolt ....... will this be OK.... assuming I use a washer and a rubber seal......
Anyone ever do this ?

Wow, when I first got the Jeep I almost bought a radiator skid but I figured I'd have to have some pretty bad luck to break the pet c o c k off. I guess it is possible. I personally don't see why a hex bolt wouldn't work?

You can also use a transom plug from a boat store. Basically a heavy duty rubber stopper. Your radiator won't get hot enough to hurt it.
You can trim them to size.

Walmart has them for $2 or less.
You can modify them with just a bolt. When you tighten the bolt... the rubber sqeeeeezes out and plug the petc-o-c-k hole

The petrooster threads are most likely NPT, so your bolt idea may not work. If thats the case a simple brass pipe plug with telfon tape will do the job.
