Thinking abount tapping the angle iron and "slotting horizontally" the plate that's welded to the Square tube... Should allow for some fore / aft adjustment if required........

Looks like a lot of work for what 2 tabs and a bushing assembly could accomplish. Just an opinion :)

ya know ... your right.....

2 bushings a coped/notched square tube 4 tabs .... The only downside I see is that it will be into the frame rails pretty high.....

Use round tube and have someone put a bend on each side to bring it down to the level you want it at.

If you end up bolting it to the frame then put in a crush sleeve (spud) so you don't crush the frame.
