So Saturday night I was invited to come out to TM with a few of the RockRatz. None of my Jeeps were in the mood to go ( read: I'm a little behind on the maintanence) :D So I decided to take the Rhino.
To make a long story short, we were waiting for Rick Norman to pull in and pull in he did. Right into a mud hole! He walked over to where the rest of us were waiting and asked for a pull. I was sitting in the Rhino and said sure! He looked at me and said no way! I said, piece of cake! We pull rv's out of the sand with them all the time! Reluctantly he agreed to let me try.
We hooked up the strap, Jim and Joe piled in for traction. I hit the throttle and the motor strained!. We never spun a tire with all the extra weight. After a few seconds we started to move. Out he came. We were all laughing so hard no one was able to get pics. :(
Make sure the next time you see Woody, He will appreciate it if you remind him of "How he got saved by a golf cart"! :D
Oh, then we ran LT! Here are some pics!
Jim coming up the first obstacle, quite a bit deeper than before the rains.

Jims new trail companion "Rain" wasn't quite sure which seat he was supposed to be riding in on this obstacle.

Craig it was great to run with you again and I was very impressed with how that Rhino worked. Fun trip and on sunday Matt broke in the XJ even more on Collateral Damage and Anaconda:(.
I did not run Anaconda so did not get any video of that but this is a link to the video from collateral Damage.
WARNING Large File.

You didn't take the Rhino over the terminator obstacle? I've been planning on hitting TM with my Rhino but I just haven't made it yet. I haven't really used the Rhino much in the last year. Did you just run Lower Terminator, or anything else?

Bob thanks for the comment on the video.
mingoglia: Craig could not stay the night but he ran all of Lower and never needed a strap. He did not do the terminator but I was impressed at how well it worked. looks like a fun rig.

Craig, that was just a plain , out and out fun night. Wish you could have been there for the rest of the weekend.....:) We will have to do it again soon. I Still think we should have ditched the wimmins and went down to the rave @ the lake. There were some pretty hot girls in some nice cars we passed as we were blazin the Rhino..... Maybe it will be a weekly thing out there.....a Sat nite rave at the lake..... Good times, with good people, and good rigs that dont break. What more can you want when you wheel???? As for the Rhino pullin out the Dodge, trailer with XJ on it, I would pay a MILLION dollars for that pic.....Just to tease Rick with.....
