If you could pick up a F-9 for $150.00 to $175.00 how much could be wrong with it? If anything. OH thats out of a junk yard

As PMFG says there are a lot of different types of 9" axles. I know you probable dont want a 27 spline. Maybe try Goggling Ford nine inch or f 9". I dont know all the different types but you might do a search up on Pirate too. I think a couple of vendors like Currie and Dynatrac sell high pinon nines for front and rear.

These are pictures of the 9ers you want. Notice the ribs and the casting numbers. If its not one of these three its prolly junk :D
