Broken arrow is an easy trail and any stock Jeep can make it. It's a very scenic trail which is why all the tour companies up there run that trail. If you choose to go down the staircase it can be intimating the first time you look down it but it's very easy as long as you keep your speed down and try to remain smooth going down. Stop in and see Nena in the Sedona Jeep School and she can probably hook you up with maps.

I've been on Broken Arrow a few times. The views are amazing and a stock TJ should be fine. I can only think of a few places that will be tough...The Devils's Staircase for one. Use a spotter and take your time.
A portion of the trail loops. You'll drive by the bottom of The Devil's Staircase first. Take a quick walk over to it and decide if your comfortable coming down it. If not, you'll have to avoid that entire section.
Finally, there are going to be Pink Jeeps all over the place. Be courteous and if needed, pull over and let them pass. Your on public land and have every right to the trail. And stay on the trails at all time!
Have fun and post some pics after you get back.

The trail is very easy except for a few spots. The Staircase is steep. As said before keeping your speed down is necessary, but I found that in 4 Lo and 1st gear with an automatic Rubi, I simply did not have enough compression braking to go slow enough. Made me wish I had a manual because I almost pooed my pants. Make sure you have skid plates if you go down the staircase without a lift because I hit mine pretty hard - especially because I caught the front lip of the stock skid in a couple of spots.
It is a beautiful trail - you just have to ignore all the pink jeeps and the drivers' ugly mugs. :D

Looks like I'm out:( Wife wants to save as much money as possible before Hawaii. But if a group still gets together I'll ride shotgun with you.
In reference to the Pink Jeeps.. When you see one coming, do the driver a favor, and pull over... especially if he is behind you. These guys drive pretty fast, and get paid by the scream (or so it seams). Their tips are earned from frightening riders, so one of us, slowing them down, really frustrates them.

If someones behind me traveling on the trail I'll pull over and let them by (although this rarely happens). ;)
However I couldn't care less if this guy gets frustrated because he wants to make a buck. I'll pull over out of courtesy, nothing more. If this guy is courteous, I'll be 5X's as courteuous back. If this fictisious guy is riding my arse shaking his head he's probably not going to make any tip because he and I more than likely going to have words. His patrons will be in for a treat regardless. I refuse to bow down to some trail nazi.
