Hi Gang,
We have a volunteer to assist us with the yahoo groups archive forum.
Mark Booth, aka Blooddrive will be joining our group to help in the conversion and upkeep of the email archive.
This is no small job... I probably have 12 hours into the archive process just converting the Yahoo groups postings into ASCII text files (up through post 85,000 or so... 15 posts at a time).
Mark has stepped up and offered to assist in the conversion and upkeep of the archive forum.
The HUGE positive aspect to this upkeep is the availability of a good search engine to help azvjc members find information quickly (not to mention the fact that it will be nice to have a complete set of group records).
Everyone will soon be able to perform a complete detailed search of every azvjc post ever written... and asking people to use the search function will be a pleasure.
