So it was my first time out since the beginning of May but I have to say, it never leaves your blood. I picked up right where I left off like I had never stopped for these 4 months.

So we all rolled out about 9:15am to the trailhead and come to find out about 15 others had already beaten us to the punch. We decided to stick it out though and the water and 12 Jeeps made for an adventure. We did lose a few in the beginning, not to breakage but I think to time constraints and the possibility one felt it was beyond their limits but I'm not sure on the second one.

Anyway, here are the pics!!!

SpongeBob getting air on the enterance:

What we had to contend with for most of the day, the dogs didn't seem to mind though. This one area was able to swallow a 33" tire whole though and I know Travis (LOST TJ) got a bit damp and I made some bubbles with my exhaust. The water really did make this trail a bit harder then what I remembered it to be:

Here are some of us waiting our turn for White Line:

Here's AZCharlie needing a little help. I think he was the only strap on of the day. He got a wee bit too close to the rocks so we had a wincher at the top of the bypass to control his sideways movement and he made it out just fine:

Freaking LOST TJ is a poser:

Here's "66gto" just coming out of White Line getting some flex:

After a slight delay waiting for the Terminator/Z Turn obsticals due to a issue in the group ahead of us, it seemed like most tried to do the Terminator. Some were denied (me again... like usual) some made it through fine. Here's Mike lining up:

SpongeBob actually catching some air!!! I know it's hard to tell but trust me, he's is with his driver's side:

I just got home and unpacked. Lower Terminator was wetter than I've ever seen. When we first started it felt like we would never get through it. There was literally 30+ rigs on the trail ahead of us. I believe our group started out at 14 and ended up as Jamie said 12.

The trip was uneventful for the most part. We lost two tires in the group and had to use the strap once on white line (as Jamie's picture showed). I was one of the tires lost and as my luck would have it I did it on the exit of the trail. Figures. :) I think my sliced tire (sidewall) will plug up nicely for a trail spare.

I'm going to hit the shower now...

AZCharlie again getting himself in a position he didn't care for. I have the same problem though in this spot:

http://i2.tinypic.com/359barm.jpg

We continued on to pivot point which was a bit of a PITA for quite a few people. I also need to put in an endorsement for roll bar padding. I DON'T have any and now I'm drooling and have a concussion from smacking the topside of my head into my rollcage when coming hard out of pivot point. I know some saw and I was popping a few pills once on level ground. I think there is a video floating around too. I think I very well may be investing in some padding or a helmet. LOL

Moving on to the end of the trail, here's Travis showing us his sexy flex at the end of the trail:

Two of the new guys (or "new-to-me" guys) working their way out of the trail:

http://i2.tinypic.com/4dx1dzp.jpg

http://i5.tinypic.com/2ecgr45.jpg

Here's Gary taking the "bypass" at the end with his bad arse AT's man!!!! He showed us MT/R folks what his tires can do all wet and muddy:

http://i7.tinypic.com/4540vfo.jpg

And here's Don waiting his turn to come out the same way:

http://i8.tinypic.com/2qi4k0n.jpg

Overall today was a great day, minimal damage of 2 sidewalls but not to bad temperature wise and awesome people to spend the day with. I can't wait to get back out with the group!!!

Oh, my pic of the day, this is the line out of Terminator/Z Turn:

Good pics Jamie. You know how to work the camera. It sure looks like Goodyear MTRs are the tire of choice.:)
Glad you guys had safe fun. See you all at the Dairy Queen. (Why does that sound gay?)

Thank you all for a great trip. I had a blast and am glad to have met a few new faces and see a few that I am glad that I haven't seen in a while. :p

Started out a little later than originally planned (had some Death Wobble on the 17) this morning but I pulled up to the air down spot at 9 and pulled out to head towards Terminator at about 9:20. We had 14 rigs to start and lost 2 right at the beginning of the trail for time reasons.

The trail was about as dirty as I have ever seen it. Mud on the way in and pretty much the whole trail there was mud or water. Cammy and Bailey (the 2 labs) loved it!

We ran into 2 groups moments into the trail and all of the sudden there was 30 +/- vehicles crammed onto the the 1st section of Terminator. We all settled in for what we knew was going to be a long day.

The trail was fairly uneventful for carnage except for 1 sidewall in the middle of the trail and a front shock coming out of the bucket (Sorry Jeff :o ). Then when everyone is done Mingoglia decides he wants to get in the action and tear a sidewall.

Everyone got through fairly well with a little pushing and pulling here and there but overall it was a great time and I look forward to wheeling with most of you in the near future Jeff and Travis excluded!

Jeff will post some pics shortly as I didn't have any opportunity to take any.

Had a great time today. Got to see some new faces, and was a pleaseure to get everyone through. This was the first time I have really taken my rig out since I put the 60s in (Crown King doesnt count). All in all it performed pretty well considering Im open, on 37s with 4.11 gears. (soon to be locked on 39.5 with 5.86s). I did one of the buggy lines, and was pretty stoked, allthough I think my seat has permanent clinch marks in it

Great people and great time!!!

Any way heres a few pics I got:

Nice pics everyone. I wanted to make this run but I was stuck helping a buddy lift his Jeep.

twstd, what rims are those? H1's? Seems like all those bolts could get hurt?

yep, H1 double beadlocks. The tires that are on there are only 12.50s, (going to 14.50s ) so it looks a little on the unprotected side, I abused them pretty well today, and no damage. Hopefully the 14.50s will provide even more protection. That pic also makes them look like they are out more than they really are.

Special Pics from today(and last night)
My oldest Daughter Kylie celebrated her 12th birthday yesterday, and one of the things she wanted was to go wheeling with Dad (she goes alot), So I needed to put up a couple of her to show how truly lucky I am. She loves wheeling as much as I do and will start driving trails in the next few weeks.

Happy Birthday Kylie!!!!!!

Love ya

I had a kick *** day! Even though I was the only one to take a strap and then got tippy twice. The last time I thought for sure I was going over.(Thanks Travis for the Asst.) I think my drivers front tire just didn't want to get wet. It's a MTR thing. Anyways it was nice to meet alot of great people. I'll be hitting TM more often.

Thanks everyone! I had a blast. (Silver Unlimited) Got home with some candy striping on the drive shaft, first ever scrapes on sliders, and of course one badly cut sidewall. Thanks for the help in getting it changed.

Someone said they had some 35x12.5 r15's that they couldn't use. Before I go to Discount Tire and buy a new spare, send me a note if you are interested in getting rid of them.

AGAIN - THANKS!

I tell ya, I was very impressed by Jamie's driving. She made most of the obstacles open/open! I definately learned a little bit from her and everyone else yesterday. I am dropping my junk off with Joe this morning for the new LA lift, so hopefully we can hit this trail again soon so that I can shake down my new kit.
