.223 Bulk Ammo Best Price

Where is the best place in town to go to buy bulk .223 ammo? I am just looking for 55gr ball ammo for target practice. I would like to buy about 1000 or so rounds.

j & g sales will be out here for the gun this weekend. They should be pretty cheap.

The last batch I bought was at a gun show. Had shopped around quite a bit and they had the best price at the show. It wasn't J&G, the show was in Tucson.

Cross roads of the west is the biggest and best show to go to. You'll see all types of guns, knives, well just about anything, and typically most vendors are doing it to support their habit.
As far as ammo, the rumble is to buy now, prices are gonna go thru the roof, especially on the russian import stuff, and the typical ammo used by a large percentage of usa folks. ( 223, 06, 76239, 54239, 9x18, 9mm, 40cal.)
There are some reasonable buys, usually on the last day of show, stock up, or you might wish you had later on if you shoot alot.

How many plan on going to the show and what day???? Maybe we can meet in the parking lot and get a better group buy on .223/5.56...Also what brand of ammo do most go for??? I shoot Wolf poly with n/p all day no f/f or f/e. and for the price its great for plinking!!

Is that show this weekend? I might be able to get loose Sunday, if anyone is going. Clay, it is definately the best place to buy cheap ammo. Be prepared for large crowds and spending most or the day if you want to see it all.

I'd like to get over there but just got shocks and shackles for the CJ soooooo might be doing that this weekend. If everyone is going to meet up i bet i can get over there for a little while.....
