I am going to do a run on Sunday out in the Table Mesa area. The tentative schedule is Terminator at about 9ish. The Raw Deal run is at 7:00 and I don't want to interfere with it. Time dependent we may try another quick one in that area. Please post up if you are interested and make sure you include a brief discription of your rig so we can have an idea of timeframe and possible other trails. Look forward to meeting some new faces! :D

I had intended to run the Raw Deal group with Yjunk and Nick jsut to see the trail and to mess around a bit with new memebers. I just tossed a locker up front but im still running the 35 open in the rear on 33's. Im a finesse driver so im not worried about gettin on the rear enough to break.

Not sure how on it you guys are planning on getting but in teh 3.5 section i havent had too many issues where i cant make it. Let me know if you want me to bow out cause of the 35. I have no problems with holding off till i get teh 8.8.

My heep has a 3" TF SA lift, 33" MTRs, 4.56's, lockrite in the front and LSD in the rear. I have never done this trail. I am getting a RK LA lift in two weeks. Can my rig make this or should I wait??? I have all of the skid plates and stuff so I think that the undercarriage is protected.

You will be fine. I am seriously doing this trail open/open. There are bypasses for most of the difficult obsticles. It will be a fun trail for you. The trail rating for this trail should actually be a 3 in my book.

BTW...The best trait of these BFG AT tires is the way they hold on to the cow poooop... sure they'll throw the hot sloppy stuff on your wife's arm, but they will also remind your a week later about your adventure.:)

Lower Terminator can be fun when you take all the obstacles but it is sufficiently easy that it can be navigated in 2WD. I did it in 2WD the first time on 33s and no lockers when I bent the front DS and then proceeded to break the spider gears in the front diff by being dumb. Oops.

I did it the second time in 2WD but cheated sorta -- 4:1 xfer case and a Detroit. I did it in 2WD just to prove a point to someone. It kind of sucked in a few places but the point is, open/open keep wheels on the ground and you'll be fine. Oh yeah. And don't listen to Travis. You'll be fine.

Take I 17 North to Table Mesa Rd at the stop go right across the overpass, take your 1st right follow till turns to dirt then go a little farther till you see a big dirt lot on the left. Thats it. Meet at 8:30 to leave by 9:00.

Bring the usual (food, water, camera etc)

I may like to join the group on Sunday. Ran lower terminator once and did stupid on the white line, hit the wall. It was a good trip, even found a buggy playing dead at the end of the trail (on its roof).

I think with good spotting, good tire placement, and bypasses on the major obstacles you should be just fine. :p

On some rocks i shouldnt have been playing on under the mine buildings. theres a part that runs above a small wash with some rocks i wasnt ready for :D I tried the nice way of gettin over em then i tried the mean way.. rocks still won!

It was a lot of fun out there today! Boy, there sure were a lot of jeeps on the trail. My purty fender flares got a tad messed up......the wife isn't too pissed (Yet). I'm sure that I'll hear about it a little later on tonight. Either way, it was a great run! I look forward to wheeling with you all again really soon.
