To: Interested Party

You are invited to participate in the Coronado National Forest Land and Resource Management Plan revision process by helping us craft a vision for the Coronado National Forest of the future. The Forest Service is hosting a series of public workshops to discuss needs for change in managements of the mountain ranges of interest to you. The first set of workshops was held in June, 2006. A second set of workshops is scheduled for mid-to late September.

I would like to thank all of you who attended the June workshops. It was a very productive and rewarding experience for the Coronado staff and, hopefully, for all participants. At the September workshops, we will breifly discuss the steps and timeline for the revision proces, and our plans to work collaboratively with you in that effort. We will also present information about common issues concerning needs for change that were identified in the June workshops. These common topics offer the opportunity again for small groups to discuss teh needs for change and will be usefull in focusing our ongoingplanning efforts. Notes from the June workshops and a short report about the common topics will be available on the Coronado National Forest website located at (http://www.fs.fed.us/r3/coronado/plan-revision/index.shtml). These notes may be useful background for the September workshops. The dates, locations, and times for the September workshops are listed in the table below.
