I am leading a run to the coves at Saguaro lake this sunday01/04/04 Come on out and play, I'm bringin the whole family. its posted on the AZVJC site. its a 2.0-4.0 trail so everyone can have fun no matter how big your jeep is!

Thanks for leading this trip. My son and I had a great time. He really enjoyed seeing what jeeps can do ( and what they should'nt do). He was also impressed with the response when we needed a little bit of strap to get up the hill. He was still shaken later that day and admitted to being really concerned. I was grateful for the help and pointed out to him that is why we go in groups. Again Thanks for the trip and even though TJ's were poorly represented we had a great time!

Numerically...We only had 2 TJ's on what looked like an XJ field trip. If it was poorly represented, it was when I ended up on a strap on that little hill by the lake!:eek:

There's been a lot of people that's gone for swim on that little hill though. I'm just glad you were not one of them.

For a second there I thought I was going to stall out on that stupid ledge. Is that what happened to you?

Yep. Stalled and lifted. I was afraid it would go over so I asked for a hook to stabilize me. Then I ended up riding over that little granite ledge. After that I was fine!:D
