I loaned a couple one of my Maxon GMRS 210+3 handheld radios on the 7:30AM run to CK on Sat. and did not get your name. Please respond. Thanks!

OK.... I really need to find out where this thing is. This is not one of the run of the mill, $29 Kmart special FRS radios. This is a top of the line 10 channel GMRS radio with full trunking and repeater features valued at about $300 for the pair.... Which now I have one of. This was a middle aged couple in I think a silver or light blue wrangler( not sure if it was a rubi or not). They were towards the back of the 7:30am group and may have been someones guest and not get on the website. I lost track of them when we changed the axle. I don't use these very often, and don't have a problem with letting these people use it until they can get a radio, but I need to know where it is. Any help locating this would be appreciated. Thanks!

Have you looked at the Yahoo group threads? They might've said something in there, or you can say it there and might get a response.
I've noticed that the older crowd seems to hang out mor eon the Yahoo group than this BB.

I am going to send this around one more time in the hope that someone may know something about this. Just a quick note to all to keep an ear open on the trails to anyone who says, "I borrowed this radio from some guy and don't know how to return it". I know its a needle in a haystack, but one can always hope. Thanks for your help!

Try to find a picture of the jeep that you lended them to. That will help with the search. Good luck!

Can you describe the Jeep and person? Did the Jeep have AZVJC decals? It's possible the person doesn't check the boards often. Maybe we can help figure out who it is.

This is about all I have. I looked through the posted pictures and did not see any. I really didn't think this would become an issue when I loaned them the radio.... I mean, where are you going to go on that trail. I thought it would be hard to lose track of them, but I guess with so many Jeeps on the trail that day, somehow I did. It was a newer wrangler.

Just an idea but they may be only on the old site. You could post a trail run to Crown King on the old site and just mention about your missing CB and how to get in contact with you so they can return it.

Didn't you take a video of us all pulling out? Maybe you caught the jeep on the video and can splice out a pic? Just an idea.

I really hope you get the radio back. They do look like good ones and your good deed should be rewarded not punished. I would hope this is one of those situations where the other party simply forgot or perhaps they do not know how to get ahold of you.
Here's to a speedy resolution.
