Hello all,
There are a couple people that will be installing SYE's soon. I have done 5-7 of them, so I will take the helm of helping. If you are interested in helping, learning, or just hanging out, post here. I am not sure of a date yet, prob in the next couple of weeks.
Is there anyone in the Chandler area with a 2 car garage that we can do both at the same time? Will make it go faster for one, takes about 3 hours each.
Thanks,
3timejeepin

I didn't say I was going to do them, I said I would supervise:D (means watch what they are doing and drink beer).
Most likely take 3 hours for BOTH, so, I am just about 20 min. slower than you.
I leave the case in the Jeep too.

The hack and tap is realitively simple. I did mine with a metal cutting blade installed on a circular saw. Just be sure to follow the RE instructions and be sure to get good (titanium) drill bits and a good American made tap and use the cutting oil liberally. OH! and measure twice. The scary part is cutting the shaft.....it just doesn't seem natural to do that.

I know this is a dumb question, and I think I already know the answer, but I'll ask it anyways.
If I put in a SYE, can I get rid of my TC drop?
