Subject: Front Passenger Lower Axle Control arm Bracket Help????????
So it's now been confirmed that I have mangled the bracket beyond comprehension. Ask John Rabenius. LOL
I need to find someone who can cut it off and replace it. I refuse to pay 4wheelers $300. Not only is this cutting into the Lift budget, but it's also stopped me from purchasing it. I really need some help. I think there is a picture here: http://www.atstraffic.com/jeep/Damage/index.htm. Neither picture really shows how bad it is. Again, please help.

O-R Fab can do it, but they will do both brackets on the axle for
$250. They are made out of 1/4 inch steel, and have a skid plate on
the bottom.
Welcome to Jeep repairs! Once you think you can afford the new part
you WANT, you have to fix the part you NEED!!!

Hi everyone,
Didn't want to post a run on the events page because I need to test
my new suspension without worring about which way do we go. Would
like to run raw deal or something in that area Saturday or Sunday. If
anybody is interested let me know. Looking at starting around 8 am at
the turnout on table mesa road and need to be home by 4 pm.
Buddies jeeps are all still in teardown so I don't have anybody to
run with.

I sent this out, but I think my mail system hiccuped, so here's
attempt #2:
On some mopar rigs you can also put a resistor inline with the IAT
to adjust the fuel mixture. Some people I know with 5.9's and 5.2's
have had success with this, getting a few tenth's shaved 0-60.
Its important to note that tweaks like this seem to be very picky --
others have reported pinging even when running higher octane gas, so
I'd suggest trying the IAT mod, but being on the lookout for pinging.
Good luck!

This is total B.S.!!!!
[EDIT]I meant the whole issue and how its been handled and tried to sneak through congress as a "rider" when it didn't pass as it's own bill. I can't believe the nerve of Young and other CARA supporters to go about persuing this at this point in time in the wake of a National Tragedy, let alone backdooring support from the NRA to do it.... The part about "covertly" getting the NRAs support pisses me off. When CARA was first introduced, the NRA said it would not support the condeming of peoples rights in any way shape or form, now they support it.
As our national economy teeters on the brink of a massive recession;

Lynch,
I realize you have to take all these manufacture's claims with a "grain of
salt" but, if you only get 75% of what they are claiming (10 RWHP) it would
be 7.5 RWHP. That is a total of 4% increase in HP for $39.
I will have to think about this one. Thanks for the link, I think (my wife
probably won't like it :) ).

Subject: Support your local shops
I recently decided it was time to replace the worn out stock springs
on my 94Yj SOA. After doing some research I decided to get 1 12/"
lift springs. I first called Rubicon Express as I knew they
had "special" 1.5" lift springs made just for SOA rigs. They wanted
$150.00 a piece (must be made of some special stuff). A quick call
to shops around town and I found 1.5" Superlift springs for $159.10
for 2 springs @ Flyn Hi. Bushings that would have cost me $100 mail
order I got from 4 Wheelers Supply for $73.00. Mostly I would like
to say thanks to these two shops for the way my wife and I were
treated while there and over the phone. I will definitely do all my
Jeep buying locally from now on. By the way Desert Rat wanted
$282.00 per end for the same springs, go figure.

Good luck!

perfect, but need to be stripped and painted. Tinted windows. No

-- YJ Bestop Supertop for full steel doors. Sand color. All hardware.
Decent condition, tinted windows, minor scratching and staining on
windows. $175.
-- Olympic Rockcrawler rear bumper with custom Desert Fabrication tire

keep my spare in the bed now, so no need for this equipment. Have had
minor issues with bumper flexing while carrying 36-inch spare. Can
easily be fixed. Will discuss further if interested. Over $450
invested. First $200 takes it.

Brand new condition. Make an offer (any offer) and come get 'em.

As our national economy teeters on the brink of a massive recession;

Lynch,
I realize you have to take all these manufacture's claims with a "grain of
salt" but, if you only get 75% of what they are claiming (10 RWHP) it would
be 7.5 RWHP.
