Everything I've ever gotten from RE whether it was direct from them or drop
shipped through another shop has come Fedex. UPS sucks!

I would like to thank both the guys at Toybox Off-Road for
extending to me a GREAT price on my RE lift, and for making sure that
it got here in time by having RE Fed Ex it. Jay REFUSED to charge me
for the extra shipping cost, even though I threatened to take my
business elsewhere if he didn't let me pay it! LOL! It is customer
service that truly is noteworthy.

So, guys, thank you very much. I am now a very loyal Toybox Off-
Road customer. And I am even going to have a cool Toybox Off-Road
windshield sticker slapped on the glass. I know everybody who
doesn't have one is already jealous... :)

COOL!!!!!!

Alright, I like any pop, just not diet, oh ya, and beer! Corona,
really anything but Bud product. Pizza, burgers, steak, I am not
that picky on food.

I plan on bringing my 1/2 drill, and large bits, an extra set of
wrenches, and my ratchet set. Do you have air tools John? I can
bring my torque wrench too incase we need it. Jack stands? Jack?
Can you think of anything else John?

7:30 sounds great, plan on approx 6 hours, that even includes the
trip to Home Depot we will prob have to make!

Sounds like your computer is not getting a good VSS signal. Didn't you recently have your t-case off? Check the speedo sensor on the t-case and check it's connections. Are you getting a check engine light after it dies?

I got a package last week that left Sept 6th and arrived on the 25th. It went from the midwest to Phoenix, back to the Midwest (for an unknown reason when I called them) and then back to Phoenix. The box looks as though it fell off the truck a couple of times and was rained on. Yep, UPS sucks!

Same thing with the delivery of my new seats awhile back. The boxes were barely staying together. It was obvious they were band aided on the way too. Oh yeah, and the tow bar box. Half of the towbar was hanging out of the box when they delivered it. The delivery guy plopped it on his dolly and proceeded up my driveway with part of the towbar dragging on the concrete. How lovely! I tried to complain about it but the guy said to sign here and call customer service. What a joke!

The last time a Fedex delivery was scheduled I wasn't home. They left a note saying I could pick it up at the warehouse after 6pm. The driver finished his route early and drove back by my house to attempt delivery a second time. Everything I ever got from Fedex arrived looking as though it was handled with TLC at every step of the trip. Fedex rocks!

Anyone have an old hunting jeep they want to get rid of. The kind with no top, no doors, no lift no fancy wheels, just a reasonable drive train and two seats and could still have license plates on it. A friend is looking for a jeep for the horse ranch.

FedEx is definatly the only way to go...especially since they have ground service rates that are cometitive with UPS...but both companies do have their share of damaged product...I am working on a FedEx ground claim that has been going on almost a month now and I have faxed them the paperwork 3 times and they told me to mail it in this time because they cant find it....but this is the only package that has ever been damaged that I have shipped using FedEx.

The speed sensor has a small plastic gear on the end of it. That whole assembly plugs into the hole on the t-case. There is a little metal clamp with a bolt through it that holds the sensor in place. Then you just have to make sure that you have a solid connection, to the correct connector.

Hello All,

Keith Berkshire is leading a Broken Arrow trail run on Saturday, September 29, 2001.

When: 9am
Where: Trailhead
Rating: 2.5+
Length: Couple hours
CB Channel: 4

Since the original date changed for this trip I am scheduling a new one for SATURDAY. I know of at least 2 other Jeeps that will be on this trip also. Since this is a short trail we could go find others to do in the area afterwords.

Broken Arrow is a fun trail with great scenery. A stock Jeep can make this run and there are areas for those with built rigs to test and flex their suspension, such as the Crack. Pay attention to the signs, as part of this trail is a one-way loop.

A lot of Pink Jeeps share the trail so please put your best foot forward while representing our club. For many of the passengers on those Jeep tours, you are the first real off-roader they have ever seen (gosh, that is a scarey thought!) You will find that most of the pink drivers are pretty cool!

The Devil's Staircase is fun, and some members have been known to run it bottom-to-top. If you do, please post a look-out at the top to prevent someone from coming down while you are trying to go up.

It usually takes a couple of hours to make the loop, which allows ample time for pictures and a stop at Chicken Point for lunch (you did bring lunch, didn't you?)

Enjoy and remember to TREAD Lightly!
