I plan on leaving for the Cracks about noon on Friday, will be hauling a camper and towing the jeep. The plan is to camp Friday and Saturday night at the trailhead.

I will leave from Cave Creek go the back way to Fountain Hills and hit the Beeline at the casino. Anyone who doesn't know the way or just wants to travel with me is welcome. Just PM me.

Rick Beers put new tires on my trailer this morning, he told me he plans on going and I think he plans to do the Cracks on his mountain bike. It could be worth going just to see that. :D

Well, the Crusher corners are finally on, the tail lites are back on and I even wired in the lic. plate lite. We will see how they work at the Cracks in the Snake Pit. They are kinda wide but if they keep stuff from coming into the jeep then my wife will be happy and a happy wife means...well, you know. :D :D

Nick says they look like tables so I guess I can eat lunch on them. Richard thought he was getting a new work bench  when they came in so they have a lot of uses. Now I may have to get the PS front tubes.

Here are a few pics:

I'm not too good with a rattle can but they are just going to get messed up and need touch up anyway. This was not a good install to do by yourself and if I do the front, I'm sure I'll ask for help.

See you all at the Cracks :D

Your rig has definitely evolved since we first ran Chicken point together. It looks good and you'll use those rear fender flares as a pivot point on our local trails. They'll be a fun tool to get to know. Enjoy yourself this weekend.

Some nice pictures Mike and thanks for coming up. We got lots of rain on Friday, but it cleared up enough Saturday to get the run in. TC drove all day with one hand! Mostly holding his injured limb out the window to keep from hitting it. The other Mike in the 6 wheel drive Pinz amazed us with his driving skills. Good wheeling and good company in the evening. The Toyota guy limped out with problems after help from Keith in the Sami and a couple others whose names I cant remember, I hope you fellows can come back again.
Ill try to post a few pics when I get back from my trip next weekend.

Thanks again everyone! :D

Yeah Huck, that seems so long ago. I'm always ready for another lesson, maybe after the monsoon season.

You are right about the flares. I used my rock sliders to pivot the Snake Pit and the flares to pivot the Squeeze, just wanted to try them out, they work great.

I had a great time at the Cracks as usual, I just love camping out there and the weather was great, some rain, no bad storms, not enough mud to cause any problems and a few laughs when Cliff & Bob were putting up their new tents in the dark and the rain. But the best thing about going that far to camp & run is the fact that there are no dirt bikes, no quads, no shooters and no wild people pulling in during the night drunk and camping 20 feet away from you just to party or tear the place up. Well except maybe Cliff. :D I just enjoy the experience.

There were a couple of dogs on this trip, it was good to see Samdog, whom I have wheeled with before and I finally got to meet Desertdawg, hope to run that Hackberry thing with him in the near future. Plus I got to see a Pinzgauer in action and it was impressive. Oh, and the Snake Pit bit a Yota and sent it limping home.

At noon it started to rain so we broke for lunch, some people left but the rest of us huddled under Bill's awning until the rain let up and then we ran the North Wall.

Thanks again to Bill and Diane, T.C. and Donna for making it happen and all who showed up for a good time.

Below are some of my pics and the rest are at: http://community.webshots.com/album/553142288NeSeNm
