Lachlan,
Let us know when the lift comes in. If it's this week then next Sunday will work to do the install. I'll E-mail directions to my house to those that are interested in helping or dropping by once we have the date set. Feel free to call me if you have any questions.

Hello,
I've put the pics that I took when I was over at Sharky's house on my Yahoo photo album. If you look at them you can see where both Dan and Sharky had to shorten the front end of the shift rail. I heard Hackle is installing his soon. This might help him out.
Maybe Mike C can post these somewhere on the webpage for future reference?

Does anybody know where to get good powdercoating done here in
the Valley? A friend on mine just got a GMC Sierra, put a 6"
Superlift system on it, and 35" all terrains, and now wants to get a
Gibson or similar exhaust. He wants to have the exhaust sys
powdercoated to match the newness of the truck, and he says he heard
somewhere that powdercoating an aluminized exhaust system will help
keep it from rusting out as soon. And it would look cool...
Is it possible to have a high temp powdercoat?

I have one in my D35C, it is very easy and only took about 30
minutes, didn't even have to remove the tires. The only problem I
ran into was that my D35 carrier was an ABS carrier, even though I do
not have ABS on the vehicle. The lockright for a non ABS carrier will
NOT fit into an ABS carrier. You can email me directly and maybe I
can help you install it on your rig.

Just a warning Trea Low now states all TJ's must cut off about 1/8 inch on
the shift rail. Well I have an 89 YJ and we had to do the same thing. What
it comes down to is they are making a bad cast of the case and the hole is
not deep enough and laying it off to the consumer to fix. I love the product
first run was tonight and it is amazing. That does not exclude Tera flex
from making the product correctly. I think all involved need to e-mail Tera
flex and let them know they need to repair their own problems. Jim F. Thanks

Here's the deal.
My father-in-law is purchasing a vehicle, so he wanted me to run the VIN #
to see if there was any problems with the car. So I went to Carfax and for
$14.99 you can run one VIN # and for $19.99 you get unlimited for 60 days. I
figured to buy him the unlimited one. I went ahead to test Carfax to run my
Jeep, I know it was a rental for the first 8 months of it's life (a service
guy at the dealer told me, after I bought it). So I ran my Jeep, Carfax says
not only was my Jeep a rental but, in April of 2000 it was involved in an
accident in Tucson. I have owned it since July of 1999.
Nobody is home for me to ask questions. As Ricky used to say "you got some
serious splaining to do."
It has the police report number so if nobody fesses up I'll find out who was
driving. Anybody want me to run their VIN's?

FWIW, the carrier in a D35C on a TJ, whether it's a 4 or 6 cyl,
is an ABS carrier, whether you have ABS or not. The locker for this
application MUST be an ABS carrier-compatible unit, or else you're
gonna be frustrated trying to install it. It simply will not work.
Make certain that it's the right one... Other than that, like Alan
said, it's a piece of cake. Or pie, whatever you like best! :)

These are brand new. Been on the Jeep since Friday night. The catalog and

That's waaayyy to much for me. I just wanted 4".. I could probably complain
enough and send 'em back, but I figured I'ld see if someone wants then for a

Hello,
I've put the pics that I took when I was over at Sharky's house on my Yahoo photo album. If you look at them you can see where both Dan and Sharky had to shorten the front end of the shift rail. I heard Hackle is installing his soon. This might help him out.
Maybe Mike C can post these somewhere on the webpage for future reference?

I have one in my D35C, it is very easy and only took about 30
minutes, didn't even have to remove the tires. The only problem I
ran into was that my D35 carrier was an ABS carrier, even though I do
not have ABS on the vehicle. The lockright for a non ABS carrier will

Has anyone done any business with them? Good or bad? They have some
good prices on cored 9" 3rd members setup with gears and a locker,
better price than having a local shop set it up. I know they charge
a core charge if you don't send them a 3rd member, but it's still
cheaper with that addition.

There is a place on 52st and Washington, I think its called Phoenix
Powdercoating. I have had the ladder racks done on two of my work trucks and
the job is excellent at a reasonable cost. I don't know about hi-tenp
coating but this place does a great job and I would start looking there.

They should settle some don't you think? Especially with some wheeling.
And some day later you might wish that you had them.
