If you own a Rubi with stock axles/lockers then I have something for you. Bottle of DC OEM limited slip additive for the rear axles. Not sure what it cost but it is not cheap, maybe $10 bucks or a bit less as I remember.

I bought it to add to my rear axle when my Rubi was stock and never used it as I swapped axles. Found it today in one of my trail boxes.

This is for the Rear axle only for the limited slip that is in the Locker of a Rubi axle. It may be the same juice for all limited slips in the rear axles of TJs, but I cannot say since I don't know for sure. [I think so].

Since its less than $10 bucks, I will take a 6 pack of Grolsch beer in trade for it. I really need some help on this as I am down to my last bottle of Grolsch in the ice box.:D

'97 - 04 Jeeps using the recommended gear oil and axles that have a limited slip rear differential require this additive. IF using the DC recommended synthetic axle gear oil THAT contains a limited slip additive then it is not required that you add any additional limited additives.

Summary:

* '97 - '04 using non-synthetic axle lube with limited slip diff require the additive
* '05 - '06 using synthetic axle lube WITH limited axle lube in the formula, with limited slip diff do not require additional limited slip modifiers

If you use the proper lubricant in the rear of your Rubi 44, no additive is necessary. I think there was some confusion on this early on, but sythetic is supposed to be used and no additive is required.

That said, anyone else with a LSD who runs non synthetic could put that stuff to good use.
