Firefighters ROCK!

There are signs posted all over Sedona that say "Thank you Firefighters"--If any of you have driven by the store this week, our sign is 8'x10' and says "Firefighters ROCK" (Jan wanted to put one up that said "Firefighters are HOT", but she was voted down! :D ) According to our chamber of commerce, the outpouring of donations was incredible.

I just want to make sure word gets around as much as possible:

Nena, I am very happy for you folks over there. And yes, the firefighters are great! Having gone through the Rodeo/Chediski, I can relate to all the feelings. I am just happy there wasnt any loss of life and the fire was stopped before it went through town.

Nena, I was in Sedona yesterday, and from the Village to the W. side of town, signs were everywhere! Yours seemed the biggest, so points to you :) . I must have been one of the first "civilians" to drive up the canyon yesterday afternoon, and the fire crews really did an awesome job. Far less damage than I expected.
