M35 is a highly sought after Military 3.5 ton portal axle that they disgused in about 10 Jeeps one year. It looks just like a "Dana" 35, but it is really strong.

Here is my question... Since that front is a vac. disco... and leaf spring set up... Can I still weld new TJ brackets on there? I was not sure how I would be able to go about mounting an upper control arm bracket on the existing vac. disco assembly... What do ya'll think about that??

Not if the YJ 30 was a HP..the gears and carrier would not work for a LP axle...
