I am running a Tuffy center console with Mastercraft Rubicon seats. The problem is that the stock seat belts rub on both the seats and the console. This cause undue wear, and resricts the forward back motion on the seats. Has anyone else had this problem, and how did you fix it? Oh and 4 point harness's are not an option for me yet.
Thanks

are your seats attached to stock seat mounts? if so use rear seat belt lowers and feed them through the slots. They will bolt right up and are flexy so you can route them through. You can also un bolt the lower part of the shoulder/lap belt and feed it through the other side slot. I can post pics if you want.

What width seats are you using? 21" wide is the limit with a console.

Thanks Tom, I just put a PRP seat in mine and still need to take em loose to space the back up about 1/2" and that will fix my seatbelt problem for a while until I get harness'.

Tom,, Thanks for your input. My 03 TJ did not have those kind of belts, but I was able to order some on Ebay. Now no more rubbing.
