Got mine finaly today and spent way to long installing it. It doesn't seem to fit exactly, much like some other aftermarket crap I've had experience with. But hey, it's on there and I feel better now that my DS won't be rubbing the stock one. Heres some pics:

Now on this side you can see that my stock TC skid is a little roughed up and bent, well I don't have an angle grinder and I really didn't want to try banging away on it to get it strait so I just went over it. This is only temporary cause I'm going to get a new T-Case skid when I get my RockKrawler Xfactor 5.5" Long Arm Kit. It makes me wanna grunt.

Props to Earl at Max4x4 for gettin the shipping **** all figured out. UPS tried to buttram me, the bastages. They are good guys up there on RoseGarden and they will take care of you.

I bought a pair of Skid Row mounting brackets for the aluminum skid I made for the oil and tranny pans. The brackets were a bit pricey but I couldn't have made a set that turned out as good as these were.

Did your bracket attach to the bottom of your motor mount brackets?

10-4 Stu, thats identical to the brackets that I have. Did you also get the nutsert things that drops in on the backside? I think I see it stickin down there. Seems to work well.

Yes I did.....it was a little pricey for those 4 parts, but there was no way I was going to duplicate something like that and have it come out even close to the Skid Row brackets. That nutsert plate worked very well. It was pretty close to down right easy. :) Cost of the brackets and aluminum ran me a total of $100....I got lucky on the AL....one piece came out of the scrap pile.

Here is a partial pic of the skid I made. I kept it tucked up very close to the engine and tranny pan....which required my providing adequate clearance around the edge of the skid. The outer edge is reinforced to 1/2" thick 6061 alloy and the center section is 1/4" thick.
