The whole thing is hard to believe, but with the technology we've got these days, it's hard not to consider it is possible. Sort of like aliens, I haven't seen one to believe they exist, but I can't totally rule out any existance.

Yeah, this notion has been around a while and predates even that 2004 article. Developments in CCD and LED + LCD and fiber optics technology have made all sorts of interestnig seemingly far-fetched applications a reality.

One of the earlier problems with the reprojection technology is that it could not change with the perspective point. Three people in three positions will all see the possibly distorted veiws of the same thing. This makes the shimmer occur and the stealth only approaches 100% if viewed absolutely dead on and even then it isn't great. But for a casual glance, it would hide a lot of things. Pretty cool anyway.

I liked the idea of lining vehicles with the technology so you could effectively see right through the walls thus eliminating any blind spots.

My way isn't so advanced, but has worked great...no top + no doors + and someday, no body = no blind spots. Why doesn't everyone drive a Jeep?:D
