Hello guys and gals,

I have been a lurker here for some time and know a good bit of you all from other sites (that im sure will vouch for me *cough*Jack*cough*), it was suggested that I check in here for some assistance.

I am relocating to the phoenix area within the next few months ( read as " as soon as I land a job" ) and was wondering if anyone was looking for a dispatcher/fleetmanager/planner. Or if you know anyone at any of the local firms (swift/estenson/knight) that could lend some assitance.

Currently, I am a dispatcher with a major truckload carrier and am working on my second year in the trasportation industry at the corporate level, would prefer a lateral move into an operations group but open to options.

Thanks for any assistance,
Deverhart

I know Ruan has a couple Phoenix based operations. They just bought out some milk tanker business in California and Arizona.

I worked as a terminal manager for them for over 2 years. They SUCKED enough to make me go back to driving.

If you enjoy false hopes and lies, that's a great place to work. Their website is constantly advertising for managers. Just don't ever accept a transfer to New Jersey.

Hi Deverhart,
I am an owner operator leased to a large flatbed carrier here in Phoenix. I was in their Phoenix office as the local fleet manager for a year and went back to running my truck. I am also a driver recruiter on the road, but I think we have an opening in the office in the operations area. Do you have flatbed operations experience? It's probably ok if not, I'm just curious. You can email me at mushroom7b@cox.net, my email here at AVJC if you want to and we can learn a little about each other. I will talk to the regional director at the office and make sure there is an opening, ok? I have been working with these people for almost ten years at several different companies and they most assuredly DON'T SUCK. I bought the truck I have now from this regional manager when we were at another company nine years ago. Drop me a line and I will talk to him, ok? Thx, Mushroom.
