Twisted
Trail Rating: 5.0
Twisted is a trail that traverses a narrow canyon with sheer rock walls in the Table Mesa area. Many look at it and see an impossibility. Others see it as a surmountable challenge. As many have demonstrated, it is indeed the latter.
This trail has the capability to break large axles since opportunities for getting bound up hard are very real. Extreme body damage can be caused if just the right path through is not achieved. Winch points are far above the canyon and tricky to use. Realistically this should be done in a rock buggy and only by experienced drivers and spotters. Carry spares and the tools to make repairs. A winch is mandatory.
Just getting to the beginning of the trail can be a bit of a challenge. There is no place to turn around. Backing out would be extremely difficult.

The gatekeeper. This is the most critical part of the trail. Blow it here and your in the canyon for a very long time trying to extract your vehicle.

Very, very narrow. You need to climb one side and try not to drag too much on the other.
