Hey Jeepers!!
I'm so excited about being in this group, just quite don't know if you all know each other or what. I was looking for some input on a new 4.0 head for my 4.2, and only got 1 response.
It might be that there really is no answer, but just wondering...
Now, I'm wondering about a body lift. I have access to a 1" body lift from a CJ, and am wondering if it can be used on a YJ or a TJ. Are the pucks all the same, just different other stuff or what?
thnks in adv.

Regarding the engine head swap, there are some real good articles on the 'net on how to do it, pro's con's etc. Try a Google search, if you can't find them pm me, I may have some stuff saved.
Can't help you with the lift info, I have an XJ. Try a google there too, there is probably some info around.

the CJ lift will not work. but you can buy a body lift for about 100 or less. so just buy one.

Actually, the pucks from a CJ, YJ, or TJ should be the same...its just the number of them. IIRC a TJ has 11 pucks....I could be wrong though...I have a YJ....I once had a BL that I never installed, but it was a TJ BL and it would have worked for a YJ...I just had to buy the bolts...Ace Hardware is a wonderful place...:D

Easy to find someone who has a 2 or 3 inch body lift for sale, they buy them, then get flamed for the bad judgement, then sell them for pennies. Simple fix to cut them down to size.
