whats the best spark plug in everyone's opinion?
it's not a jeep, '01 4.3
I figure I could just call auto zone and ask for a spark plug but I figured theirs gotta be a brand out their thats better than others.
so I might as well ask for some opinions

AC delco's are preferred on some of the GM sites I've lurked on, at least for the old 350. Bosch seemed to be the worst .

I swear by AC delco in GM engines(former chevy tech)
Nippon Denso or NGK in Jap
Champions in Jeep
Champs suck in GM but I found out the hard way they are THE jeep plug

What he said (I was also a GM driveability tech).
NGK's also work real good in SBC nitrous motors, they were the only plug we found that wouldn't get fried after one weekend in the dunes.

I have been running the AC-Delco Rapid fires in the XJ, and it seems to like them . But with the TJ I swapped in some NGKs and it does good with them (yes NGK is one of the plugs listed on the label under the hood). I am not a big fan of Bosch anymore, Champions are getting better. Never Autolite or splitfire. But I carry 2-3 extras of the cheapies in the tool boxes.

I cannot disagree one bit with the above statements.
Delco in GM
I learned the Champion (NEVER USE PLATINUM in older Jeep vehicles) wisdom from the first person (of very few) I ever had work on my Jeep... Clifford Performance. The guy there had been a Jeep tech or whatever before he "retired" and taught me quite a bit about my rig while it was in his care.

NGK works well in late model Jeeps, thanks to them being mostly DC/Mercedes designs anymore. Very few of the original Jeep/Chrysler engineering parameters still exist in these rigs.
Even the new Hemi's supposedly work very well with NGK
