98 XJ/01 TJ coils

Can any one tell me if the stock front coil springs in a 01 TJ will work in a 98 XJ. I am trying to help out a friend who needs new front coils for his XJ and thaught if mine would fit he could have them. Thanks

they'll fit, they would be a little on the soft side for an XJ and the front end would probably sit alittle lower, but they would fit, If he has an Up Country suspension package, then your TJ coils will be too short.

Thanks..... If it sits a little low I could add 3/4 inch spacers.
