Does anyone know how to make the lockers on a rubicon work in 4 high or the rear in 2wd? I would really like to keep the original switch. This is my only problem. Just wiring them up with seperate switches would be cake, but I haven't even tried to take things apart yet. If anyone knows an easy or sure fire way please let me know.

Here is the best write-up on the locker defeat switch that I have found: http://www.wanderingtrail.com/Rubi_2003_Trail/Buildup/Locker_Defeat.htm

Thanks for the info Wayco, that was exactily what I was looking for.:D
Its a simple mod and the wandering trails article explains the mod well. I did it over two years ago, twin switches without safeties. Factory switch still works the same way in case the mod becomes problematic. Its super simple. There have been other ways of doing the mod allowing you to utilize only the factory switch, but deleting the safeties by using a jumper pin between slots 1 and 5, I believe. You can double check this by doing a search on the Rubiconownersforum.com

From what I have heard, Safty was the only reason for doing this. You wont hurt the jeep.
