Hi guys, I'm putting a REBB on my 2000 TJ 4.0 this week. I have a d35 and 3.07s :( ,so I'm getting 31s. I do trails like Box Canyon and Martinez Cabin, but not much more than that. Don't know much about tires so I have a couple questions....

1.) I'll probably go with BFG MT T/A KMs, and some cheap Crager steel wheels. What's a good wheel/tire size to go with? I'm guessing 15x8 and 31x10.50r15/c. Is anyone running this setup, and if so, would you recommend it? About how low could I safely air down?

2.) Do I need to buy 5 tires/wheels? I currently have BFG AT 30s and the spare has never been used. I'd like to save some bucks so using the existing spare would be nice if possible/safe.

3.) Whose got the best tire prices and/or service in the Southeast valley?

thanks in advance guys, and happy wheelin'!

If you want a Discount on this side of town (since you say you're in the south east valley) try the one on Cooper/Warner. I've been buying all my tires there since they opened. With four vehicles, a couple company vehicles and a RV that likes to blow through tires I buy tires there sometimes a couple times in a month. The guy I deal with over there is named Emery.

I have an incomplete axle with 3.07s if ya wanna it for spare/parts. FREE

When you get 31s, they might rub on your lower control arms. On each side there are bolts to adjust the max turning(below the tie rod ends); just loosen them up and add washers untill you're satisfied.

EDIT: here's the site to adjust steering http://www.stu-offroad.com/steering/stop/steerstop-1.htm (http://www.stu-offroad.com/steering/stop/steerstop-1.htm)

Emery is my brother and he's no longer at cooper/warner. He's now at the new Discount at Power and Mckellips. Go there he'll get you set up right.

How long's he been gone? That sucks. I've been buying from him for a long time. I guess I'll have to drive further. It's always funny when I go in there because I have a list of purchases on their screen under two phone numbers. I've been meaning to go in there the last few weeks to get one of my mangled rims replaced.

He's been there now for a month or two. I know what you mean, I have to drive further to get my tires done too.
