Not a wench.....

I am looking to get a Warn 9500Ti and I was just wondering:
1) Any comments from the folks that have one already??
2) I want to support the local guys "but also want a good price" so who to go with???
3) Any accessories you can't live without??? Ok besides a good battery, snatch block, tree saver, D-ring, and a length of chain????
4) Any one wanna go on a winch run to try it out????

Thanks in advance,
Shawn

Toys by Troy gave me a good deal on that winch, less than $1000. I got to use it the first time last Wednesday on Lower Terminator.:D

I am a Warn Master Dist. Give me a call on Monday and I should be able to give you the best price on any Warn item. Also I keep just about everything on the shelf. No Waiting.:)

I have a 9500HS.... (not for sale)
I've used it many times over 4 years and have no complaints.
I would recommend this winch. I'm not sure how its speed compares to the Ti , but mine is way faster to rewind than most other winches. Slow winches suck when you want to move on quickly...

Thanks all!!!
2gnarly, I'm planning on getting a new one anyways :D . I didn't see the (HS) version listed on the Warn site, but I know what you mean about wanting to move on quickly!!!

Simon, I was planning on coming in to see you to begin with ,just gathering data to make an informed decision.

Wayco, Sounds like you are pretty happy with it then.?.

AZXJ, Sorry I didn't catch the info on the T-max deal..

Any more comments or suggestions??

Is the "accessory" kit worth it or is it better to just piece the rest together?

Thanks again,
Shawn

Yea, I am very happy with my 9500ti, but very inexperienced when it comes to using winches. The one time I used it, I only had to move about two feet to get traction. It was very handy to have two friends that had more experience help me thru the proceedure safely.
Troy only stocks THAT specific winch and told me that it is the only one he would install, that alone tells me alot about his opinion of winches.
I haven't been to 4 Wheelers supply, mainly because they are quite a ways from Goodyear, but have only heard good things about them. Get a quote from Simon or Troy, you can't go wrong with this winch.

The 9500ti pulled my jeep out of a tight spot in Moab last week!

Thanks Simon!! Any chances you work Saturday?
Wayco, Thank you for another opinion on the winch, that is inline with other comments I have been reading.
Hatch524, good to hear!!!

I just went down and got the yellow top optima, I only plan on running a single battery. "Unless I find myself needing more capacity.."

I will piece my own recovery kit together.

Thanks,
Shawn

I also bought a "yellow top" at Costco for $150, best price I have found. Stu has a great article on batteries on his site at:http://www.stu-offroad.com/electrical/elec1/battery.htm
Let me know what you collect for your bag of goodies, I don't have anything but a tow strap.
