Need to pass emmissions

I need to find someone who can get my '91 YJ to pass emmissions. It has a 4.0 FI with 5 speed, all stock.
Need it done in the next two weeks.

Try putting in a bottle of +92% alcohol in the gas just a couple (2-5) minutes before the testing. Never fails for me :)

I used the 'ole alcohol ploy in my '72 Cutlass, which worked great. But I heard that alcohol would screw up the sensors in my Jeep. Have you actually tried it?

Yeah I used it last year in my Jeep, but mines a 74, no sensors to speak of :rolleyes:. I do use it in my truck, 96 Chevy 1-ton, every year though with no problems, It never even registers on their computers :D. But that is a good concern though, I never even thought about it screwing up the sensors, hmmm

My luck has always been to run some gas additive prior to completely filling the gas tank up so that there is no airspace in the tank....worked for years for me

Your truck has sensors so if it doesn't hurt that, maybe mine will be ok. I may have to try it. I hate being the sacrificial Jeep, though!
