I just cut my front fenders and was wondering if anyone has suggestions for turnsignals. I don't care about the side markers, I know it isn't legal, I just need signals for the front. I'm considering using CJ style lights under the head lights or possibly LED signals. Here's a pic so you have a better idea what I'm talking about....

I'll sell you the side markers for $10, the one on the driver's side is a bit scratched, but unbroken. Lemme know...

I tried sending a personal message but I guess it's not activated or something...

Anyway I'll take them 100% sure. I can do it next week :)

I hate to do this on a public board but here's my email so we can chat private info: triviadesign2@yahoo.com

I've also got the stock wheels and spare (spare is like brand new, never been mounted on anything other than the rear door) for sale. I'll take any reasonable offer. The wheels are kinda rock rashed, but straight and in otherwise great condition.

How about some specs on your Rubi? Looks kinda like stock suspension with 33's. Lookin good

Yeah, it's stock suspension with the exception of 2" spacers and JKS quick discos. I'm doing all the easy stuff right now. I screwed up when I bought the 33"s. They were way bigger than anticipated. I should have done what I originally intended, 5.5" rubicon express long arm, high steer kit, and 36" IROKs, but opted for what I thought was gonna be cheaper. I'm gonna do a cheapy 4" fabtech short arm kit for now. I really didn't want to do 2 different lifts, but I screwed up, what can I say? Other mods include: Custom front and rear bumpers w/ spare tire carrier (both built by me, sliders and tube around the front fenders to follow shortly) 33" Super Swamper SSX & phony bead locks, axle locker bypass, and not much else. I'm also gonna build a full cage soon, corner guards and LEDs are on order for Friday, and possibly some new axles. I'm looking for a winch, if anyone has a spare 9000i laying around.....

Yeah, that link really helped. Thanks alot. I think I'm gonna run the 4" clear lens ambers w/ a chrome bezel. Should look sweet.

When you say wheels. Do mean tires too. Heres my e-mail addi if you do.
jeep4offrd@cox.net Send me a e-mail and we can talk about it. Why is your PM turned off?

Do the CJ style under the head lamps up front. that looks really nice. I also suggest side markers if you ever drive this on the road. I am sure you will be carfull on the road in your jeep, especially after all the work you put into it. Do you trust other drivers to see your jeep?
If you did or do the recessed tail lights you really want something on the side that glows and reflects.

I ended up running 2 1/2 inch led's in the front, came out pretty sick. I'm looking for an led that is a turn signal and running light though. The ones I have are only running lights, but I'm using them for turn signals, they're fairly bright, and work well for that, but I have no running light. As for the side, I'm not sure what I'm gonna use, considering some of those small, import style "euro" lights behind the fender. I'm sure I'll get some crap for that, but I like them because they are small. Hit me up with any suggestions. As for the tires, I only have the spare. The other tires were junk and weren't good for a trailer, let alone your Jeep. Sorry. But if you need them, let me know. I know 16" tires are pricey, which is why I stepped down to a 15", plus they make like 50 zillion tires in a 15"...

I always thought about getting those lights for 1 ton pickups (the clearance lights on top of the cab) and making a turn signal out of them for the front. Problem is that they aren't able to work as parking lamps and turn signal at the same time.

Metal Fusion has a wiring kit for your lights.

TC used his side markers for turn and parking lights.

looks good, I like the looks of the CJ signals in the grille personally. What did you use to cut the plastic flares?
