Welp, got my 60 day notice today at work, kinda figured it was coming due to lack of service time here.
So just incase they can't find anything elsewhere within the company, I'm putting out a feeler to see if there's anything else out there. I have until June 23.
Job info: Converting the alpha model AH-64 Apache's into the new Delta models at Boeing. I work on the structures side (sheetmetal) reconfiguring, rebuilding, repairing and adding new modifications to all aspects of the airframe. There's also mechanical work involved while working with close tolerances to ensure parts fit correctly.
It's been a while, but I also have MIG and TIG welding skills with steel (MIG-Tig), stainless steel (TIG) , aluminum (Tig) and titanium (TIG), although I'm not certified in any of them now.
To go even further back, I do have a construction background, but I'm trying to avoid that if I can.
I'm easily trainable and learn fast, so I'm willing to look at other options if anyone is just looking for someone who is dependable and flexable.
