Maybe they should offer a free transfer case skid plate, since the
liberty's is only about 5" long.

It could possibly be.
FWIW, mine started as a squeaking sound, and eventually worked it's
way to a vibration/chattering sound.
Even if it's not the driveshaft, it won't take too long to take it off
and check it out. Be sure to check the U-joints as well as the CV ball
joint.

If you are looking for a decent dealer service department, you might
want to go to Pitre in Scottsdale. I took my 98 'TJ w/4" lift &
33's in there and asked them to take a look at the alignment since I
was having serious front end shimmy. They checked it out and
determined the problem was with the tires being cupped (old style
Wrangler MT's with 30,000 on them). When I asked how much he was
going to charge me, he said nothing on top of that he didn't even try
to sell me new tires. I ended up replacing the tires with new taller
MT/Rs and that fixed the shimmy, but Pitre did all right by me.

Maybe they should offer a free transfer case skid plate, since the
liberty's is only about 5" long.

Dan: now all your problems are solved!!!! Go trade in your old
rattling Jeep for that new Liberty you liked so much last night.
Then, get the free lift, put your swampers on & you'll be ready for
Predator by the weekend.

If you want to come over tonight, you can pull my front and try it in
yours. Takes about 10 min. and could be the problem. If so, I won't
charge you $40 to diagnose it.

Something about that fake carbon fiber trim all over the inside and

It could possibly be.
FWIW, mine started as a squeaking sound, and eventually worked it's
way to a vibration/chattering sound.
Even if it's not the driveshaft, it won't take too long to take it off
and check it out. Be sure to check the U-joints as well as the CV ball
joint.

That's the closest description anyone has come up with to match what
I hear, and only after the jeep is driven for a few minutes to get up
to operating temp, which is why the dealer couldn't find anything,
they probably on drove it around the parking lot once.

identical to the pics. I waved but i dont think you
saw me. There was also a red jeep going sout when I
was going north that had a az vjc sticker on the side,
that was at 11:00'ish. Anyone?
