Costco winch

Has anyone had any experience with the $300. winch Costco sells?
Champion brand I think, 8,000 lb with 95 ft 5/16 cable.
Price is certainly right, but? at least Costco has a good return policy.:confused:

I've been happy with mine. I used it for the first time today on the willow springs trail. For the price it's a good winch. The only issue you may have is with the winch plate, it's got a millon holes for mounting but none of them line up with the holes in the jeeps frame. I had to do some creative cutting with my angle grinder to make it work. The winch itself has a 10"x4.5" mounting pattern so it shouldn't be to hard to find a winch plate that will mount better on a jeep.
By the way, I'm not sure where I picked this up, but I think Champion is an off name of mile marker. I'm not 100% on that so don't quote me!:)

Decent winch for the money.. Didn't have a problem mounting it up on a customers XJ. They are a little slow and thier duty cycle is far less than a Tmaxx / Mile marker / Warn... of equal ratings.. Definately on the cheap side.. I believe it has brass windings instead of copper like the Tmaxx/Warn/Mile Marker winches..

If your interested in a Tmaxx Let me know.. We are doing a special on them starting Monday...
