There are a lot of us heading up to Moab the next few weeks and it would be nice to have some contacts up there in case any of us have any issues on the trails.
Can you guys post up some references in case we run into any problems while wheeling in Moab and need some recovery help?
Thanks

I've never relied on anyone other than my friends that are wheeling with me when it comes to a recovery up there. One of the best reasons that I can think of to go out in group of 5 or 6 vehicles, IMO. :) A couple rigs can make a run back into town, if necessary, to pick up parts while another vehicle or two can stay behind with the broken rig.

I'm thinking worse case scenario. It would be nice having some contacts just incase.
I know there was a post around September sometime but can't find it.

Moab Offroad--Keith or Rick--(435) 259-5678.
Of course, there is a Farabee Jeep Rentals up there, too, (435) 259-7494, but those rental people are friggin' nuts...:D

From my experience, the shops up there are clueless when it comes to a computer controlled vehicle. Your best tool would be a car trailer so you can haul your junk home if it breaks.

You could bring along a HAM radio and just use one of the local repeaters up there. Could get a lot of help.

You can also contact the Red Rock 4 Wheelers (the club who puts on the Safari) and they may be able to provide some info and/or their own services if necessary...
