The yahoo webring page has been experiencing problems for the past couple of
days. The ring still exists, and will function correctly whenever they get
the bugs worked out (I imagine). So the rest of you can still sign up at:

I have written 2 other times and still

other way to get problems resolved???
I have been trying to create a ring for
the past week and still have had no
luck. It gets all the way through to a
successful creation of the ring, but
after that, it keeps showing that the
ring is not found. I have tried
creating the ring 5 times, but still no
luck. Now I have 5 rings all listed
with the same name in 'My Rings'
(Arizona Virtual Jeep Club - oh and one
Test Ring) that I cannot delete because
if I click on the link, it just shows
webring not found. How can I resolve
this? All I want is to create 1 ring
by the name of Arizona Virtual Jeep
Club that actually works. I hope that
I can get some kind of an answer from
somebody on this.

This website is the perfect place to turn the tables on them. Click
the link to take action and you get all the email addresses of
relevant politicians. Use them and write them your opinion.
For what its worth, I advocate revoking the monuments. Failing that, I
would ask them to minimize or just not fund these monuments at all.
They're on a shoestring as it is.

Subject: Transmission Problem????
I wrote this to Eric to see if he could help me. I wanted to send it to the rest of the group to see if anyone has had a similar problem. Thanks in advance for any help.
I have an 87 XJ with a 4.0/ inline 6. Auto transmission, A/C.
AW4 tranny.
Casper
Hello Eric,
I got a question for you about my automatic transmission AW4. Recently I had to change out a temperature sensor on the block for the computer, all went well and the light on the dash went out. Then the next day the gas gauge pegs out way over the full mark. And then this morning I noticed that putting the jeep in "D" drive the transmission feels like it is slipping very badly. I almost have to push the accelerator half way to the floor to get it to even move. Also the A/C on the max setting with the fan turned up all the way barely blows any air. Now I don't know what all these have to do with one or the other, if at all, but everything was running SUPER, no sign of a problem at all until I changed the sensor.
Can you help me out with this Problem????
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Casper

Subject: Selling your Jeep???
The biggest mistake i ever made was selling my '85 cj-7 after
building it a bit. I had a 350, th350 tranny, 1-pc amc20, 4 inch
spring lift. Headers and 10-inch cherry bombers that exited out the
side w/out catalytic converters (this was in Kansas City mind you)
that spit blue flames when I got on it at night. Lots of rust, I
welded a street sign for the passengers side floor, the backseat
mounts rusted out, but I never got out of it what i put into it.
3500 bucks! I still cry when I think of it... Be prepared to seek
professional help after you sell your jeep. But then i guess it was
the impetus to buy another jeep and build, but still... = ( Not to
mention my first car a 77 cj-5 with even more rust and a blown 304,
which I learned about cars on, and I also learned about the
disadvantages of narrow-track cj axles and sharp corners. Blah-blah-
blah, keep your Jeep!

Subject: Help Ray!!!
I am sorry for putting this in the "ALL" inbox, but I have lost the address to Ray. I believe it is Ray who works for a Jeep/Dodge dealer??? If I am wrong, please forgive me. I am desperate and need my wheels working. Here you go:
Ray,
Working at a Dodge dealer as you did, was there ever a problem in the area of the gas gauge suddenly pegging out over the full mark after installing a new temperature sensor. I do not have gauges, just lights. Dave Oboyle suggested that it might be that I was sold the sensor for gauges, rather than the one I need for the lights. Could this be it? Also, within just a few miles my transmission is acting as though it is slipping. What I mean by that is that you practically have to push the gas half way to the floor before it will move. And, the air (A/C), just barely blows with the setting on "max" and the fan on high. I have NEVER had any problems in any of these areas until now.
Maybe I did something major? A year ago I installed some after market gauges. I mistakenly put the water temperature sending unit in the spot for the temperature sensor. Everything worked without any problems what so ever. Actually, If it wasn't for my temperature light on the dash coming on and staying on I would not have ever changed it back to the proper way. Well the temperature light went out right away, but now all the new troubles have started. I am lost with this, and hope to not have to put the jeep in the shop with high labor costs. If you can help me in any way with this problem I would appreciate it very very much.........................
Thanks,

Also, I already have longer bumpstops in the front due to a 2" lift I had on before - should I put back the factory bumpstops and install the hunk of aluminum that TeraFlex mounts to the spring pad or can I leave the ones from my 2" lift?
