When anyone here at work trys to access aol.com, ebay.com, drudgereport.com, foxsports.com and a host of other sites, it says this domain is for sale.
Is anyone else seeing this?

Since your work controls the DNS servers (I'm assuming) they're probably just pointing the dns to a IP other than the correct one.
Go to a dos prompt and type
nslookup
This will bring you to a new prompt, type ebay.com and hit enter, then type each of them and hit enter. This will tell you what address they're resolving to.
ebay should resolve to a 66.135.xxx.xxx address
Another option is you're using a proxy and they're pointing that somewhere else.

I talked to our IS guys and it is company wide.

Sounds like their DNS servers are either just hosed or they've been hijacked LOL
Some secuirty team you have there. Need someone to actually keep it alive for ya?

Our company's IS department was kind of laughing, because they said they could fix it. The problem is, we are a part of a larger conglomerate and the conglomerate IS people didn't know how to fix it.
I hate this conglomerate stuff. I have been waiting to get a new work station approved for 8 weeks now. The paper work is setting on someones desk back East. Meanwhile my current computer crashes about 6 times a day with no warning, so I loose a bunch of work every time it happens.
If you want to work from them turn in your resume. I believe they are in Jacksonville, Flordia or Ohio somplace. Good luck.
