View Full Version : Ladies Four Peaks Run April 22nd

Hello,
My name is Darla. I am new to jeeping and bought a 90 YJ that is basically stock (with exception of a 2" body lift and 31's) and can handle the newbie trails only mainly because I AM a newbie :)

I would like to take a Ladies Only Tour up and over Four Peaks, stopping at lake Roosevelt for a picnic lunch and heading back Apache Trail along the river through the canyon and then back through Tortilla Flat and then home again. I have been on this trail before, its easy, and have had no problems.

You may want to check and see if it's open or not. The last I heard it was closed up there due to the fire last year. Let me know because I've been wanting to make a run to Edwards Park for a while now. :)

The trail is open! I was up there two weeks ago playing in the snow. We started at the 87/Four peaks turn off and went up and over the mountain to Roosevelt lake. We had hope to go to El Oso Mine, but I was the only jeep and the snow was getting pretty deep up there. If you go up there, let me know and I'd love to tag along.

Four Peaks is open all the way up and over, I was just up there last weekend.

Great weather, still some snow on the backside of the mountain.
I am unsure if Reno Pass is open however.

I believe there are still some pink remnants on a couple of jeeps from that little excursion last year:p . You should really post up pics if you have them.
