tent fits over the rear hatch of the jeep, we have only used 2 times. the jeep can be removed and the tent left standing and secured...........it gives you sleeping quaters in the back of the jeep and room for gear and table chairs etc. works great, only reason we are selling is because we bought a more compact unit
