I've been promising my little boy for awhile now that I would take him to the mountains and find him some snow. With the weather that we've had lately I finally got the chance to keep my promise. We headed up the beeline pretty late Saturday afternoon and got a Hotel in Payson for the night. We were up waaaay to early on Sunday and headed up through Pine and Strawberry. By the time we hit the Knoll Lake/Rim Road turn-off it was snowing pretty decent. I aired down the tires, put her in 4-low and away we went! The snow from the previous week was packed down pretty hard and wasn't doing much for traction so I called it quits at the General Crook Trail Parking area and let my little guy go wild for awhile :D Here are some pics:

After playing around for an hour or so we decided to head back down the hill. We cut across to Camp Verde and then over to Cottonwood. From there we went to Jerome and up over Mingus to Prescott. After some lunch we then headed down through Wickenburg and eventually home. It snowed almost the entire way from Prescott to Wickenburg. All in all I'd say it was a fun little trip with alot of good scenery. Feel free to check out all my other photos from the trip :http://community.webshots.com/album/548737917APixIW

Also looks like you traveled a lot of Arizona's old historic hiways. I need to get out and do this again.:) Thanks for the nice pictures.
