let the tranny pump fluid into the machine and the machine pumps

I also agree. This issue is also not just about someone stealing your
gun but if they steal it and use it in a crime, you <might> be
involved for "not properly" securing your weapon. Yes, I know, if
someone wants it bad enough, etc. I would go with the Tuffy - you
might avoid having it be stolen and at least it shows you went the
extra mile to secure it.

U joint (rear rear), transfer case cap to keep the oil from draining
out if you have a driveshaft problem and need to roll out with only
your front axle engaged.
Also, a small maglite flashlight and a headband to hold it so you can
use both hands. Oh, and I keep much of my emergency supplies in a
water-resistant Marine Corp ammo box I bought for about $5 at my
local military surplus store.

I had a similar experience but I don't think it was Discount - just a
warning to check before you drive off.
Got new BFGMT's on my 94 YJ in Mesa somewhere. Heard a noise when I
went around a corner that sounded like something small fell off my
Jeep. So I pulled over and found one of my tires had only ONE lug
nut left. Fortunately we had decided to go down Broadway instead of
the 60. AND, my 5 month pregnant wife was going to pick up the Jeep
but I decided to. I WAS LIVID - PISSED. I called up and screamed
at the manager to come get me. They came right away and I cooled
down but that is INCOMPETENT. The moral of the story is that
whenever someone removes your tires, ALWAYS check to make sure the
lugs are on and tightened. Heck, you should also check several miles
down the road, too.

Hello All,
My job gets me around the state each weekend and so far I have found some nice trails in Lake Havasu, Bullhead, Sierra Vista, Green Valley and others.
This weekend is Payson, so, Sunday morning I would like to locate a couple easy trails - I will be by myself, so 2.5 to 3.0 are what I will be looking for. Something short but scenic would be great. Anyone know any like that in the Payson area?
I think I need to get a GPS and start logging some that I have found that are nice so others may also enjoy them.

OK here's a tip on the difference between Yellow Top and Blue Top

Maybe Interstate Batteries are the same, or at least very similar. The
following link: http://www.ibsa.com/www_2001/content/products/product_ep.asp
shows the Interstate battery using "Optima Spiralcell Technology". I don't
think they could claim that or use Optima's name without some type of joint

Even if you could drive 50 miles to the service station......let's see how
that works for a Jeeper.
1. I crunch my oil pan and the oil runs out.
2. I take my buddy's seat cushion and soak up the oil so that I am
environmentally friendly. ;)
3. I start down the wash towards the service station.
4. At 3 MPH average speed, I get to the service station in about 17 hours.
5. Hmmmmm......I think my engine is toast by now!

Say if you had used Slick 50 and then crunched your oil pan and drained it,

I know the commercials are hard to believe, but has anyone actually had such

I learned on this week.
My water pump went out and I just made it into the parking lot at work. On Thursday I changed the pump with help from a friend. On the way home to Heber my TJ ran hot and stayed hot most of the way running temps from 212 to in the red at times. when it did this I stopped and with a low idle it would come down to around 212. Even after getting up on the rim it wouldn't cool down to where it used to.
This morning I pulled the thermostat housing and my thermostat was full of BLUE RTV. To the point where it wouldn't work. It was stuck part of the way open or shut depending on your frame of mind.

I made my 1" body lift for my CJ-7 for about $50.
I went down to Davis Metals on Washington (Near 4 Wheelers Supply).
Picked up a chunk of 2" round stock aluminum that was long enough to
cut 11 pucks from (11" + some for the cutting). Then I took it down
to OR Fab where they cut it into 1" pucks. At home I drilled 3/8"
holes (and 1/2" holes in 1 puck for the front end) in the center of
all of the pucks. Took the bolts out of one side of the Jeep, went
down to the local hardware store and bought 1" longer bolts. Put the
pucks in one side using a highlift and then did the other side.
The nice thing about doing this is the pucks are aluminum not some
kind of re-inforced plastic/rubber. Also if you want you can do an
off size (1 1/4, 3/4, 1 1/2, etc..) Just count how many pucks you'll
need multiply by the size you want and go find a chunk of aluminum
that's long enough. You may want to take the bolts out before you
drill the holes to make sure 3/8" is the right size for YJ's.

You might consider that overhead console Tuffy sells. It has two
lockable compartments, ostensibly for stereo or CB, but seems like one
would be good for a gun.
Anyone have one of these?

I also agree. This issue is also not just about someone stealing your
gun but if they steal it and use it in a crime, you <might> be
involved for "not properly" securing your weapon. Yes, I know, if
someone wants it bad enough, etc. I would go with the Tuffy - you
might avoid having it be stolen and at least it shows you went the
extra mile to secure it.

U joint (rear rear), transfer case cap to keep the oil from draining
out if you have a driveshaft problem and need to roll out with only

Also, a small maglite flashlight and a headband to hold it so you can
use both hands. Oh, and I keep much of my emergency supplies in a
water-resistant Marine Corp ammo box I bought for about $5 at my

I think I need to get a GPS and start logging some that I have found that are nice so others may also enjoy them.

shows the Interstate battery using "Optima Spiralcell Technology". I don't
think they could claim that or use Optima's name without some type of joint
