In this case Chrysler wins. Napa wants 285.00, Checkers 340.00 and
the ole Jeep dealer 280.00 for OEM.

Thx to all for info

Micheal,
Don't know what experience you have using your GPS....
Have you looked at OziExplorer?
I think the website is www.oziexplorer.com
Runs on a computer, uses almost any scanned image or map, accepts
output from most any GPS, does real-time tracking, routing,
waypoint management...lots of things.
I use it on my laptop in my Jeep for navigation.
I also use Street Atlas from DeLorme with my GPS for highway (and
it has a lot of the Forest Service roads) driving.

Since I just ran Lower Ajax with the club on Saturday night and was updating
my GPS track log records. I noticed a Ghost town near there called Reymert.
Does anyone know anything about this town or been there?

I haven't ran upper Ajax (yet), but I presume lower and upper Ajax are named
because of the Ajax mine, which looks like it would be at the end (?) of
upper Ajax.

ORU in Mesa has been pretty good to me. I mention I'm a member of azvjc, and
I easily get a discount (of course, they joke they are marking it up 20% to
give me a 10% discount). Sometimes it seems to be a good discount, other
times it's not so great. I'm sure it's all based on their markup.

This is cool! It looks like ORU is monitoring/participating on our forum.
Which I think will be great for all.
You think some of the other company's will catch on? I think we might get
improved service and better deals if more did. Maybe even professional
advice.

Yes - I've been there several times. It's a little hard to find. Not much
left except the remnants of the mill (large stone structures - quite old
from the look of them). There are some active mining claims there.

I don't have GPS points for it but can give you general directions if you
like.

On Ajax - yes - the mine(s) at the terminus of Upper Ajax is the Ajax mine.
Ajax mine was in turn named after Ajax Mountain - which is to the east south
east.

Hello everyone! I have a serious problem! I have a '97 Wrangler
Sport. We just had a new Dana 35 with a Warn Full Float Kit, 4:10
ring & pinion, and Detroit Locker installed about a month ago.
Offroad Unlimited in Mesa installed everything. They put in new
seals and bearings.
Now i am having some major problems with it. It's leaking out its
gear oil through the ends of both axles. I think its been doing this
for at least 2 weeks maybe longer. Stupid me though, i waited to
check it today cause my E-brake wasn't holding. Anyways i took off
the rear tires and drum brakes and found that the whole drum brake
system was soaked in gear oil. Then i saw the oil driping through
where the bearings are. I have no idea what is wrong, maybe a seal
is broken or missing???? I don't know. If anyone has a clue to what
may be the problem please REPLY to this!!!!! I am going to try and
take it back to Offroad Unlimited this friday.
Thanks.

Yes my online "handle" Templar comes from the Knights Templar - as I'm sure
you know their order has had a very very interesting history =) One of my

Knights Templar, I have been fascinated with them ever since. I would
definitely enjoy talking to you about them sometime.

Thank you all for the welcome - finally owning a jeep is definitely cool,
however being part of the Jeepin lifestyle, and the comradery jeep owners
have is the real bonus imho.

Hey if you are looking for analternative to the ARB type of locking
diff another solution is the OX Locker from OX TRAX
(http://www.oxtrax.com/). It's biggest selling point is it a purley
mechanical unit using a simple lever actuated cable to engage the
diff. That is to say there is nothing else (i.e., compressor, fuse,
selonoid, etc.) to go wrong. I think it is a good unit and I know
Nick Notestine is using one as well, if you would like a second
