Who's got 13mm and who's got 1/2"?
It seems to vary according to individual Jeeps.
I have 13mm where I've heard some have 1/2". I just tried both sizes on the Jeep and the 1/2" will not work for me.

I am bored. :( I did just get done driving around some and gettign the Jeep a little dirty. Emergency braking sucks with this foot/leg still. I should've just hit the chicky on a cell phone that doesn't understand how 4 way stops work.
The reason I posted though is I bought a wrench and a socket for someone along with myself and I wanted to make sure it was correct. I knew I was 13mm and I believe they are 1/2 inch.
I'm just curious to see who has what. :D So what do you have, 13mm or 1/2 inch? ;)
For all intents and purposes 13mm=1/2"......
They are interchangeable so Jeeps work with both. In one toolbag I've got a 13mm 12 point and in another a 1/2" 12 point. They both work fine.

Interesting, 1/2" won't work on mine. I have been told that before by our friendly Mr. Bill.
Maybe it's all the east coast crud has done just enough to make the 1/2" not work. LOL :D
Yeppers, it could be the crud. Officially, its a 13mm, 12point bolt, per DC. For most folks, though, it shouldn't make a difference which one you use.

It is 13mm, but the 1/2" should work if it's all you got with you. If it's being stubborn, you can get it onto the bolt with a persuasion wrench.

I was thinking that, a small hammer tap should do. ;) I got me the 13mm today though for the tool bag so I won't have to worry about it. :)
